| A fast setting two-component putty based on acrylic emulsion resin and powder. | | |
| • For filling hairline cracks, blow holes, voids, and surface discontinuities in concrete surfaces and also for binding both new and old concrete elements. Highly suitable for all repair areas where fast setting repair mortar is required. • Also to provide a fast setting and highly adherent insulating layer suitable to be applied on both new and old concrete substrates, masonry roofs, facades, balconies, and underground surfaces affected by constant damp. Notes: 1- If higher flexibility and better waterproofing properties are required, it is recommended to use STOP200 Flex. 2- If higher mechanical properties are required it is recommended to use STOP200. 3- If a highly flexible waterproof coating suitable to be applied in high coat thicknesses is required it is recommended to use Flexcoat. | | |
| • Fast setting time, reduce considerably labor costs. • Suitable to be applied in thick layers in only one lift. • Fast repair on vertical and overhead concrete surfaces. • Good early compressive strength value. • Excellent adhesion on concrete. • Provides protection from corrosion of reinforcement, as it prevents penetration of carbon dioxide and chlorides into the substrate. • Allows water vapor to escape from the structure, the concrete will be able to breathe. • Excellent resistance to the effects of ultra-violet light, weathering and atmospheric pollution. • Can be applied to areas subjected to light foot traffic (2mm thickness at least). | | |
| • Method of Application : | floor trowel, or wide bladed putty knife. | • Mixing Ratio : | (by weight):
Powder:5 /Water:2 /Resin:0.8 | • Mixing : | Add the desired amount of fresh water, according to the method of application, into component A (powder) and mix thoroughly using a slow speed mixer. Then add the entire contents of component B (resin)(0.8 litre) slowly from the plastic bottle into the mixture and mix slowly in order to ensure that a uniform consistency is achieved. | • Pot life : | 7 minutes (higher temperatures will shorten the Application Time sharply). When temperature is higher than 25?C protect topping from rapid evaporation with damp burlap. | • Thinner / Cleaner : | Clean applying tools immediately after application is completed by water | • Application Temperature : | 5-35?C. | • Note : | When recoating, a special attention should be given toward drying time. |
| | |
| • Color : | White. | • Volume Solids : | (mixed)80 % (ASTM-D2697). | • VOC : | 0 g/L (ASTM-D3960). | • Flexibility : | Good. | • Adhesion : | Excellent. | • Recommended film thickness : | up to 5 cm in one lift on horizontal surfaces.2 mm (minimum) and 7 mm (maximum) in one lift on vertical surfaces. | • Theoretical spreading rate : | 0.4 m²/L at 2 mm “dry”. | • Specific gravity : | “dry” 1.32 kg/L. | • Water resistance : | Very good. | • Abrasian Resistance : | Good. | • Number of Coats : | As required, allow to dry prior to applying the next coat. | • Packaging : | Component A (powder):5 Kg in paper bag.
Component B (resin):0.8 Kg in plastic bottle. |

| Coating performance is, in general, proportional to the degree of surface preparation. Surface must be clean, undamaged and free of oil, grease, and other contaminants prior to application. Remove fins, protrusions, and other loose material with a scrapper, sandpaper, or wire brush. Concrete and masonry substrates must be fully cured prior to applying STOP200 Extra. For best results, surfaces should be damp but not wet prior to applying STOP 200 Extra. To obtain a smooth surface, a few minutes after application start the finishing using a steel trowel, a wood trowel, or a sponge depending on the texture required | | |
| • Dry to Handle : | 60 minutes | • Initial Setting : | 20 minutes | • Note : | Drying time can be affected by many factors such as temperature, ventilation and coat thickness. Higher temperatures will shorten the drying times. |
| | |
| • Store component A (powder) in dry conditions in the original and unopened paper bags. Avoid powder to be exposed to high temperatures and high humidity conditions. Component B (resin) must not be allowed to come into contact with metals that are likely to corrode. Containers must be kept tightly closed. Exposure to strong heat and frost must be avoided. • Shelf life is two years from packing date in unopened original containers at 10 to 40°C. Containers should be kept tightly closed. Safety: Avoid skin or eye contact. Prolonged contact may cause irritation of the skin and mucous membranes. | |
