| A solution for paint removal. | | |
| SIP Paint Remover is able to penetrate, blister, and lift a wide variety of coatings from most substrates such as wood, concrete, metal, fiber glass, etc. | | |
| • Remove oil, grease, wax, latex paints, polyurethanes, varnish, most epoxy coatings, aluminum paints, and other chemically resistant coatings. • In most cases will remove the paint in a single application. • Suitable to be applied on almost all coated surfaces: wood, brick, concrete, metal, cast iron, fibre glass, etc. • Removes marine coatings with no damage to the fiberglass. • Does not affect the original wood appearance when removing coated wooden surfaces. • Good adhesion to vertical and overhead surfaces.
| | |
| • Method of Application : | Brush. | • Application Temperature : | 10-40?C | • Note : | Prior to applying SIP Paint Remover it is recommended that a small test area be done on the surface to be stripped to ensure that the result will be satisfactory. The test also provide an idea of the thickness to apply Paint Remover and the required time for coat removing the coat. Applying SIP Paint Remover in thin layers or removing it too quickly may result in non satisfactory paint removal and the necessity of more than one application which will increase material consumption.
Note:
-Application at low temperatures require longer time for paint removal. Ambient temperature is sufficient for paint removal.
-Leave SIP Paint Remover on the coated substrate for the pre-determined time until emulsification or dissolution or swelling of the coating then remove all by a scrapper or power washing. |
| | |
| • Recommended film thickness : | depends on the thickness and the chemical nature of the paint/coat to be removed. | • Number of Coats : | 1 (a pre-determined test should be performed to determine the recommended thickness and the required time; in most cases 15 to 30 minutes are sufficient for coat removal). | • Packaging : | 0.9 L in metal can |
