Surface Preparation

Coating performance is, in general, proportional to the degree of surface preparation.
Surface must be clean,
undamaged and free of oil, grease, and other contaminants prior to coating.
It is recommended to apply Morocco on primed surfaces.
Priming: Prepare surface in accordance with application instructions for the suitable primer
being used sealer.
The primer and undercoat should be left to achieve a tack free condition prior to applying
Morocco.
Be sure primer and undercoat are clean, dry, and free of oil grease and other contaminants
When Morocco is applied.
It is possiple to recoat over.
Drying Time
• Dry to Touch : 30 min. (ASTM-D1640)
• Dry to Handle : 2 hour "minimum recoating time" (ASTM-D1640)
• Note : Drying time can be affected by many factors such as temperature, ventilation, and coat thickness. Higher temperature will shorten the drying time.
Storing Conditions
Morocco must not be allowed to come into contact with metals that are likely to corrode.
Containers must be kept tightly closed. Exposure to strong heat and frost must be avoided.
