| Coating performance is, in general, proportional to the degree of surface preparation. Surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and other contaminants prior to coating.
It is recommended to apply SYN370 Putty on primed surfaces.
Priming: prepare surface in accordance with application instructions for the suitable primer being used (SYN203 Primer, SYN203 Red Metal Primer, SYN206 Primer, SYN210 Primer, and SYN210 Red Lead Primer). The primer should be completely dry prior to applying SYN370 Putty. Be sure primer is clean and free of oil, grease and other contaminants when SYN370 Putty is applied.
SYN370 Putty can be applied to existing coatings. The surface of the existing coating has to be cleaned and abraded in order to ensure good adhesion properties.

| • SYN370 Putty has to be kept in a cool and well-ventilated place, protected from heat and direct sunlight.
• Shelf life is 18 months from packing date in unopened original containers at 5 to 40°C. Containers should be kept tightly closed.
Safety:
• Well-ventilated conditions should be provided during application.
• Avoid skin or eye contact.
