| Coating performance is, in general, proportional to the degree of surface preparation. Surface must be clean, undamaged and free of oil, grease, and other contaminants prior to coating.
WT05 is suitable to be applied directly on concrete surfaces or on primed surfaces that are filled or leveled by putty to reduce costs.
- Uncoated and clean substrates:
Prepare the surface in accordance with the application instructions for the suitable primer and / or filler being used (Primer: WT01, Filler: WT03 or WT02 for higher thicknesses). Be sure that all blow holes and defects are completely filled to produce a smooth, clean and level surface prior to applying WT05. When filling deep holes, it is recommended to apply STOP200 (refer to its technical leaflet).
- Previously coated substrates:
WT05 can be applied to existing coatings. The surface of the existing coating has to be cleaned and abraded (especially when coating occurs over oil-based coatings). Be sure that WT05 adheres well to the existing coating prior to application to ensure good adhesion properties.

| • WT05 must not be allowed to be stored in untreated metals that are likely to corrode. Containers must be kept tightly closed. Exposure to strong heat and frost must be avoided.
• Shelf life is two years from packing date in unopened original containers at 10 to 40°C. Containers should be kept tightly closed.
