SBR AZ Ultra
Description
A cement and mortar admixture based on aqueous emulsion of Acrylic.
Recommended Uses
As an admixture to improve adhesive, physical and mechanical characteristics, water resistance of portland and hydraulic cement (screeds, renders, plasters, etc); suitable for interior and exterior use. Typical uses are:

-Cement mortar for finishing surfaces subject to heavy abrasion such as industrial floorings and levelling screeds.

-Patch repair mortar for cementitious substrates.

-Highly adhesive cement bonding slurries used for binding concrete elements, walls and roofs.

-Cement mortars for filling hairline cracks, blow holes, voids, and surface discontinuities in both old and new concrete surfaces.

-Cement mortar for laying ceramic tiles.
Features
-The addition of SBR AZ Ultra provides to portland and hydraulic cements:

-Excellent adhesion properties even to damp substrates.

-Improved flexibility leading to better crack resistance.

-Excellent water resistance and improved protection from freeze-thaw.

-Resistance to dilute chemicals, aqueous salt, and mineral oils.

-Improved tensile and flexural strengths compared to unmodified cementitious systems, which imparts increased toughness and durability.

-Improved workability and plasticity of fresh mortars.

-Application of low thicknesses leveling screeds.

-Suitable for interior and exterior applications.
Application Instruction
• Mixing Ratio : (by weight) Application Aggregate Cement SBR AZ Ultra Water Levelling screeds 3.5-4 (sand 0-2mm) (up to 1 cm)\ Adhesive screeds (up to 3 cm) Render (smooth) Mortars for filling Adhesive slurries
• Mixing Steps : 1) Add sand, cement and aggregate to the mixer and start mixing. 2) Pour half the required amount of water. 3) Pour SBR AZ Ultra. 4) Pour slowly the remaining amount of water untill achieving the required consistency.
• Cleaner : Clean applying tools immediately after application is completed by water.

Surface Preparation
Coating performance is, in general, proportional to the degree of surface preparation. Surface must be clean, undamaged and free of oil, grease, and other contaminants prior to coating.

Remove fins, protrusions, and other loose material with a scrapper, sandpaper, or wire brush.

For best results, surfaces should be damp but not wet prior to applying the mixture.
Drying Time
Storing Conditions
-SBR AZ Ultra must not be allowed to come into contact with metals that are likely to corrode. Containers must be kept tightly closed. Exposure to strong heat and frost must be avoided.

-Shelf life is one year from packing date in unopened original containers at 10 to 40°C. Containers should be kept tightly closed.

Safety:
-Avoid skin or eye contact. Prolonged contact may cause irritation of the skin and mucous membranes.
